14 Uber Lower Abs Exercises To Flatten Your Belly And Carve Out A Sharp V-Cut

Lower Ab Exercise 13: Bench Ab V-Ups
Difficulty: Beginner
How to:
- 1. Sit on a flat bench so that your body is positioned perpendicular to its length. Anchor your body with your butt at all times.
- 2. Grab the back of the bench, drop your torso backwards, and extend your legs forward until your entire body is straight and parallel to the floor.
- 3. Simultaneously pull in your lower abs and crunch your upper abs to form a “V” with your quads and stomach. Keep your abs tight, a straight back, and strong posture throughout.
- 4. Repeat for 15-20 reps. Once this becomes too easy, increase the difficulty by holding a light weight in between your feet.

Lower Ab Exercise 14: Exercise Ball Pike
Difficulty: Advanced
How to:
- 1. Place your feet and shins firmly on top of a Swiss ball.
- 2. Fully extend outwards onto your forearms into full push up position to form a bridge.
- 3. Without bending your knees or hunching your back, press your toes into the ball, contract your lower abs, and powerfully lift your butt into the air. You should form an upside down “V” at the top.
- 4. Lower down slowly into push up position.
- Repeat for 12-20 reps.
