[Report] Quest Nutrition Releases New Banana Nut Muffin, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Bars

[scrollGallery id=5]

If you’re an absolute protein bar junkie, or simply on a mission to find an uberhealthy, decadent, dessert-like snack, listen up. Quest Nutrition — the maker of the healthiest protein bar in the world, in our opinion — recently added two incredible new flavors to their already stacked lineup of protein-packed Quest Bars: Banana Nut Muffin and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

While I haven’t tried the CCCD, as a banana fiend I quickly horded a box of the Banana Nut Muffin. One word: PHE-NOM-EN-AL.

After a quick 15-second microwave zap — something I HIGHLY recommend — it literally tasted like a warm, gooey, divine slice of bananas foster. It’s by far my new favorite flavor, and that’s saying a lot, given my infatuation with the Cinnamon Roll and Apple Pie varieties.

With over 16 grams of fiber and 20 grams of protein, zero added sugar, and under 200 calories from all-natural ingredients, Quest Bars are a nutritional juggernaut. They’re the Goliath of the pre-packaged snack world, and they’re one of the only protein bars that are actually healthy. What’s more — they’re gluten free and the absolute perfect snack for anyone on a low-carb diet (they range from 3-9g net carbs).

If you’ve never had the pleasure of gracing your body, muscles, mouth, and soul with Quest’s wunderkind, read through our full review and then go in for the kill shot. Quest even sells 12 flavor variety packs if you’re interested in experimenting to find your favorite.

For those already on the Quest bandwagon — the Banana Nut Muffin is incredible, splurge away. I have no doubts whatsoever that CCCD is on par, if not better.
