How Hilary Knight Got That ESPN Body Edition Body [Infographic]

“I’ve tried to shatter the body image that muscular isn’t feminine.” — Hilary Knight

ESPN just unloaded the latest edition of its Body Issue, which annually exposes a lineup of otherworldly—albeit spectacularly unique—physiques from around the sports world. 2014 standouts include Michael Phelps, Venus Williams, Larry Fitzgerald, and Prince Fielder.

And then there’s the relatively unknown Hilary Knight.

If you have no idea who Hilary Knight is or why she’s included, get acquainted. She’s a forward for the US woman’s national ice hockey team, and more importantly, she has the body of an absolute tank. Of the 5’11,” 172 pound variety, but with the curves, femininity, and build of a svelte fitness model.

That headline picture says everything.

ESPN went total access and stole a few secrets behind how she sculpted one of the most elite bodies on earth. Hint: they include coconut water, almond butter, fire cups, and my personal favorite — goblet squats.

I’m fully enraptured by everything.
