    Brian,

This new printable recap is much better than the
large, portrait style ones from the past. Such as the Build Butt
Workship and the Six Pack Abs Gauntlet. Plus I wanted to say how much I
liked the latest article about ways to recover. Man lately it has
really occurred to me how important rest is. After 3 years of actively
working out it is flat out hard to sit still and I jokingly say I have
developed restless leg syndrome because even on my days off my mind
wants to hit a yoga class or go to the gym but I need to rest!

    Specifically
about that latest article I liked the sections about massage and foam
rolling. I work at a nationwide massage spa and massages are extremely
beneficial to soft tissue recovery. You used some vocabulary words that
‘struck home’ which I really liked. (As I have said before, the style
in which you present this information is super enticing). I like how
lately you have been incorporating other ‘inclusive health’ strategies
into the information here at the site.

    KEEP. UP. THE. GOOD. WORK.

      Hey Jason,

Hahaha, oh my god, I’m the exact same way. I’ve had to convince myself over the years just to relax and enjoy rest days, because man, I hate them. If I get super restless I’ll just foam roll/do yoga/stretch to preoccupy myself in a productive way.

But through all of that I’ve learned just how critical rolling/massage/myo. release and self-maintenance is. Can’t overlook it!

Really appreciate the kind words and the feedback. We’ll definitely use the new table format instead of the larger infographics.

      Keep working hard.
      Bryan

    excellent workout

  • Chaz Michael

    Hey Brian,

First off, this site has completely changed the game for me in the past 6 months, thank you so much.

I’ve been hammering away at January’s WOTM and am seeing some big gains. I love that it is all encompassing and doesn’t involve anything but me going in and executing the workout. Seeing as I’ve been on it for almost 7 weeks now I don’t know how to differentiate going forward but am addicted to the results. I already do the 3 days on, 1 day off rotation, for a total of 6 workouts per week. Should I continue to up my weight and intensity or find a new workout rotation altogether?

I guess I don’t entirely understand what you mean by supplement this workout with others if we want. The lack of the A, B, and C day, however trivial, really throws me.

Thanks in advance for your help

Hey Chaz — I’m so psyched to hear that. First off, don’t change what’s working. Keep following January’s WOTM and upping the weight/intensity until you get bored and/or plateau.

This plan is mainly designed as a one-off, all-encompassing, full-body workout for people that can only get into the gym 2-3x per week and can’t manage a split (like January’s WOTM).

It’s an EFFICIENT use of gym time, as it’s geared to tear off fat and stimulate muscle growth/hormones in limited time.

That said, for you personally, WHEN you start plateauing you can use this 3x per week as a “switch up” phase.

Maybe run January’s WOTM for 8-12 weeks > run Feb’s WOTM for 2 weeks, 3x/week > switch back to January’s WOTM.

      Hope that helps clarify!

Really, really like this workout mate. I can feel the power coursing through me!
One question about adding in exercises for chest/arms etc. I’ve added a pushup/ dumbell fly superset and a dumbbell bicep curl. What do you think? too much? too little? Would love any input

    • https://www.leanit-up.com/ Bryan DiSanto

No issues with that at all — if you’ve got the time, go for it.

The plan’s designed to be time efficient, but there’s always room to expand on it.

  • Stacey

Wow, I started this yesterday and my legs hate you today! Thanks, I can’t wait to do it all over again!
