[Recipes] Winter Mint Chocolate Protein Shake
For anyone who craves refreshing, invigorating, cool mint chocolate without the calories, fat, or sugar, the Winter Mint Chocolate Protein Shake is an unbelievably delicious, guilt-free indulgence. With over 25 grams of HQ protein, 45% DV calcium, and under 10 grams of sugar, it’s an extremely lean way to transform boring whey protein into a creamy, decadent milkshake in a snap.
Cook Time: 2 minutes
Servings: 1
Ingredients:
- 1 Scoop Chocolate or Chocolate Mint Whey Protein Powder (I like Dymatize ISO-100 Whey Protein)
- 1 Cup Almond Milk
- 1/2 Cup Edy’s No Sugar Added Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
- *Optional — 1 Drop Peppermint Extract
Directions
Throw chocolate/mint chocolate whey protein powder, almond milk, and Edy’s mint chocolate chip ice cream in a large blender.
Add 1 drop peppermint extract for an extra minty protein shake, if desired. Blend on high until smooth and the color is a solid, light brown. Blending should last about 15 - 20 seconds on high.
