20 Motivational Fitness Pictures a la Pinterest
Pinterest — my new obsession of the moment — is phenomenal for a bazillion different reasons.
A few of my favorites include (but aren’t limited to): spontaneously sucking away large chunks of the day, which you have absolutely no control over; spontaneously inducing insatiable, irrational hunger levels (not recommended if you’re on a strict diet — crepe mania is a pretty common side effect); and creating a legitimate passion for arts and crafts, of which I have zero outside of the Pinterest universe.
Strange.
Pinterest is also stupidly good when it comes to motivation and words of wisdom, specifically the fitness and health variety. The following is a collection of my 20 favorite motivational fitness pics and messages a la Pinterest.
If you ever doubt your potential or need a little kick in the ass to get your workout in, come right back to this list. It’s powerful, simple and smart.
1. 4%.
Working out is a tiny time commitment to make, when compared to the years of youth you’ll gain and medical expenses you’ll save down the road. Looking good is cool too.
2. You’re never too busy for health.
Make working out a priority, even if it’s only for 30 minutes per day.
3. Suck it up now — show it off later.
Fitness — the penultimate confidence rocket.
4. Start today.
It’s never too late to start a physical transformation. Start it up and commit ASAP. Key word — commitment.
